Sheldon and I used to call each other "Eyeball Face" because of our freckles (starting in fifth grade). In high school, we were in the same group of friends (which also included his beloved "Coatie"). We became very close. He wrote a beautiful message in my senior year book. He used to talk about how he hoped our kids would grow up playing together, even if we drifted apart through the years. I'm so sad to say that we did drift apart, and my regrets have now come too late. Thank you to those of you who stood by him.
